There is no "tax reform" proposal pending. There is no "tax reform" bill being considered by

either house of Congress.
There is only an attempt to shovel 1.5 trillion dollars into the accounts of the already obscenely rich at the expense of everyone else. This is economically unnecessary, opposed by the overwhelming majority of people and will blow a hole in our economy from which we may not recover. But, hey, the GOP promised those who own them that they'd drastically cut their taxes, so------.

Hunker down, folks. This could get real nasty real quick. I recall a sign I saw at one of the marches in Madison a few years ago: "If we can't tax the rich we may have to eat them!"
