...who voted against killing the ACA on the first pass. This tax "reform" bill has a provision to seriously harm health care.

Did the bill get even a single Dem vote in the House? It won't get any Dem votes in the Senate, either.

Everyone should call their Senators. Especially Corker, Collins, McCain, Flake & Murkowski.

I guess people in Kentucky could also call Rand Paul. He sometimes does the right thing for the wrong reason.

he says he will only vote for it if the repeal of the ACA individual mandate is in it. So pretty much if the bill stays the way it is he is voting for it.

If they strip out the ACA provisions in order to secure Collins and Murkowski, it'd be good for Rand to know how unpopular the bill is in his state. Maybe it'll help him do the right thing (for the wrong reason).

McCain,Collins or the senator from Alaska can vote for this bill with the inclusion of the repeal of the individual mandate which they all voted against repealing just a few months ago.

I doubt any of those three would expect the house to strip out the bad parts. If anything if the senate passes a bill in conference sends it to the house it will come back even worse if any changes are made.

I have been posting this for almost a week on DU. Bernie, MoveOn, Indivisible called me on a nationwide emergency nationwide call and they are begging us to get out there NOW!! Just like with the ACA repeal which activists stopped (until the Fucking Moron signed his exec order). He can NOT sign an exec order on this therefore the grassroots activists, you and me and every DUer, must act FAST! We can do it AGAIN! Here is info on what YOU can do. Before the Senate goes on their Thanksgiving Recess we must call and write (202)224-3121, sign petitions and organize events. If you can't spend three whole minutes calling your rep than you forfeit your right to bitch and complain about it passing in the future. DO SOMETHING/ANYTHING!!! NOW!!!

While they are on Recess go to their homes, local offices and organize and attend town halls and rallies. After Recess Nov 27 we nail them at their DC offices, hold sit ins, bombard their staffers with endless personal stories about how YOU will be effected and suffer under the Tax Scam. Call the borderline senators. I have seriously made over 400 calls this year. I have written and attended meetings, rallies, etc. Here are the borderline senators to focus on. Dial (202) 224-**** (the last 4 digits for each senator's DC office. Also, call ALL OF THEM, not just yours. I live in a blue city and state and call the red states by using an address obtained by googling Zillow for that particular senator's state. I get a ton of homes for sale or rent and they have addresses and zip codes so the staffers believe you are a voting constituent and take your call seriously. Since cell phones are all over the place you can use any area code. IT WORKS!!! They NEVER check.
The senators, their state and THE last four phone digits are:
Corker (TN) (202)224-3344, McCain (AZ) 2235, Flake (AZ) 4521, Collins (ME) 2523, Heller (NV) 6244, Murkowski (AK) 6665, Moran (KS) 6521, Johnson (WI) 5323 HE IS IMPORTANT!!, Young (IN) 5623.
Here is the link for info that you can do and pass onto others.
The goal is to DELAY the vote!

There is nothing going on in their fevered little brains right now but passing this for their donors. What the consequences are, they don't know nor do they care as they are convinced their voters will return them to power no matter what they do. In the real world they would be condemned to the dust bin of history, but, alas, that is a not the world we are living in. Just sayin.

before the luck runs out.

We come within a hair of the GOP destroying the American safety net and/or economy EVERY TIME THEY HAVE PUT UP A SIGNIFICANT VOTE since Trump came to office.

Maybe one time the Republicans must finally get their way for the most clueless to finally get a clue.

22. The Senate will pass the Senate bill

Once the thing gets out of conference committee, then it's going to fail. The knowledge that the Senate bill as written will NOT be the final product allows all GOP Senators to vote for it, because they know one more vote needs to be taken.

We will not see fifty Republican Senators agree on anything that could actually come to fruition.

Off the ledge yet?
