Pete Souzas Obama photo memoir

One thing that jumps out at me is how much President Obama respected US. Do you remember what that felt like? He elevated us. Try though he may, trump can not take that away from us. We know and will always know.

What flawed beasts we humans are.

is how normal it was for women to be in positions of power and definitely "at the table" when important decisions were being made. I remember one of his photos was taken in the Oval and PBO was leaning on his desk talking to key advisors. The photo was taken from the knees down and it was PBO in suit pants and men's shoes and the key advisors all clearly women (skirts, heels, etc). tRump's women "advisors" are ditzy women who will repeat whatever the men in power tell them to say and have absolutely no understanding of most issues.
