Can Democrats make an effective argument that we are better candidates than a pedophile?

That's what we have to do now.
That's where we are.
So now we have to go nuclear on every single Republican candidate and office holder in this nation.
EVERY. SINGLE. ONE.
Because they are making the case that a pedophile is a better candidate than "a liberal," to quote the President.
Are you folks up for this?
Are you pissed yet and ready to burn the GOP to the ground (electorally)?
Can we fight for every single elected office in the country in all 50 states?
Because if we don't, the pedophiles will have won.

Offer a new new deal in the mold of FDRs
Promise to rebuild our middle class with stronger unions, enforce our anti-trust laws, fines for offshoring wealth, better schools, rebuilding our infrastructure and promise an America that is for all people.

We need to scream this message loudly on the t.v and we need to drown out the goddamn republicans so they can't control the message. We need to point out how the labor movement of the early 20th century built our middle class and promise outright a better life for peoples children then they ever had slaving away for 10 bucks per hour these past 30 years.

If we can do that we have a chance.

Trump won Michigan, Pa and Wis based on his message of I'll do something about your job going over seas. Consider that, Even through he was the snake, he was kind of right as the democrats haven't done crap in the past 35 years to stop it and he was the only one saying it.

OFFER SOMETHING! People vote when they are voting FOR something, not just against the "other candidate".
Keep it simple - not a laundry list - and actually address the *REAL* transfer of wealth from the middle and lower class to the wealthy. Don't allow the GOP to use race, etc to divide by not confronting that issue.

and trying to win with the mythical middle, stand up for traditional Democratic values. Sounding weak so a to not offend Republicans is a failed strategy.
When you use weak language and take a weak stance on the Party's core values you lose.
Remind the voters that when the wealthy elite bribing class get their front loaded tax cuts, it's the working class that has to make up the shortfall. Any Democrat who's not going to say the wealthy elites will pay their fair share is will lose. There is no longer a middle to get enough votes to win. With our political climate so toxic and tribal, the name of the game is called getting the base out to vote.
Let's call Republicans what they really are, lying, ignorant, hateful bigoted weirdos
"If you want to live like Republicans you have to elect Democrats."

Politics for people like this -ignorant - people is somewhere between a team sport and a religion. I am pissed and read to beat the GOP like a drum. How about some donations to the DNC people. It take money to win. And it is a disgrace that righties are giving more to their degenerate party.

Unfortunately, 30 years of right wing talk radio have programmed repukes that the party is all that matters. It matters more than the biblical teachings they claim to follow.

These are people who watched O'Reilly plug his book "Liberalism is a Mental Disorder."

Fuck all conservatives. Don't placate or try and win them over. Just GET OUT THE VOTE!!!!!!!!! Look at what happened in Virginia. The 10th most gerrymandered state had huge victories by the left.

If you're sitting on your ass not canvassing or phone banking or filling out mailings you are handing our country to those who think pedophilia and child molestation are better than appointing republican judges. Because that is the real battle. As long as abortion looks like it is losing than repukes will continue to do what they do.

I have 2 cousins who vote GOP, both about 50. They will NEVER vote for a Dem, and the reason is simple: ABORTION.

Both had expensive in-vitro pregnancies and had twins; both are church-attending (German) Catholics.

Never mind that the GOP cannot deliver on overturning Roe v Wade, they cannot be dissuaded from believing this is the only valid issue to base their vote on.
