During your Thanksgiving dinner ask your family to let this sink in

The President of the United States said that a pedophile is better than a Democrat because tax breaks for the rich are more important than sexually assaulting children. He also said that Moore did not admit to the accusations. Neither did the fucking Con.

Maybe later. Much later. Women in our family still like to do Black Friday, kind of a tradition, so I'll be there, and in public, where we have to mind our manners, is a good time for some pointed comment. Just one though. And, of course, one have-you-heard joke about Trump is mandatory.

Happy Thanksgiving to your and yours, Malaise.

...rather than tossed over heads or thrown into faces, yes it is better to approach the subject after dinner.

More seriously, I agree with you. It is an important subject, an uncomfortable one but has to be brought on the table.

Happy thanksgiving.

When it hit me was after Dems lost big time in the 2010 elections and Obama simply came out and said it was a shellacking. They could not believe he admitted that the party lost and badly.

"conveniently" left out the fact that this schmo was banned from a mall because of his stalking. That's not up for dispute AFAIK.

And no, politics is verboten this year with my family. My brothers barely talk to me now because I was less than kind and understanding when dimson aka the blivet started a war.

My child is bummed that our crowd will be smaller (he is an only) but I think he is happy that mama won't lose her shit during dinner and that's reward enough.

There might be one or two who didn't at first, but they know enough to keep that to themselves.

Religion on the other hand... Religious warfare is a holiday tradition in my family and it can start as early as Thanksgiving.

Fortunately it's not as intense as it was when I was a kid, but I'd still love to celebrate Christmas under an umbrella on a tropical beach, a drink in hand, in a place where nobody knows it's Christmas.

should vote for Moore without coming right out and saying that. It would have been amusing if it was not so disgusting. Here is an admitted sex deviant telling us that because Moore denied it—-TOTALLY DENIED IT, mind you——we need to take him at his word. Forget about what 9 women have said. Listen to Moore. Believe Moore. Buh-leave ME, he says.

I am not sure how much more of tRump’s shenanigans we are going to take, but I’ve seen enough, listened to enough and tolerated about all one decent person can or should. If we as a country do not stand up to him and reject his brand of “leadership “, I guess we deserve what we get. Our leaders in Congress who could and should step up to rid us of this monstrosity, don’t appear inclined to do their job. So maybe we, the people, need to rise up and take to the streets. Not in riots. Not in disregard for our laws. But because of our rights, guaranteed by our Constitution, to peaceful protest and to seek a solution to what is clearly destroying us from within.

"Not My President" t-shirt for a year, taking it off only to launder it. I got him a "LOCK HIM UP" baseball hat for his birthday in October, and I'll be wearing my "RESIST" tank under my chenille cardigan, so everything's copacetic.

Being Ojibwe and seeing how everything turned out, perhaps my ancestors shouldn't have been quite so hospitable. But oh, well. Happy Thanksgiving to American DUers & Happy Thursday for those who are not.
