Donald Trump Loves Bankruptcy

Financially, he has regularly used bankruptcy to avoid paying people what he owes them to enrich himself.

He's also morally bankrupt. He has no discernible ethical or moral compass at all. For Donald Trump, being a serial sexual molester does not disqualify a person from holding public office. That's true for Trump, himself, and also for those he supports in elections. He is using his moral bankruptcy to benefit himself and his goals, just as he used financial bankruptcy.

Donald Trump will bankrupt this nations, both economically and morally, if he continues in office. That is the risk we face with that man in the White House. That is simply true. He, and those who empower him, do not care about the national economy nor about ethical and moral standards of governance.

The only possible response to this is to deny him the power to continue on that path. Without a Congress that will do his bidding, he will be unable to do everything he wants. In 2018, we need to regain majority control of the House and Senate. Then, in 2020, we need to increase that majority and elect a Democrat as President.

To do those things, we are going to have to work together. If we do not, we may not have another chance in our lifetimes.
