And I apologize to whomever was hurt by my words.
My intent was to get us to think a little deeper and not rush off the deep end.
On further reflection, it is my view that there can be no leeway at all for sexual assault or sexual harassment.
Yes, the times have changed.
But, so have our opportunities to be educated on this subject matter.
Anyone that still clings to such beliefs is not part of a specific male culture but has a character flaw that cannot be dismissed.
We must stand up to such ideas and destroy them once and for all.
Women deserve to be treated respectfully at all times and should be able to go where they want without fear of being attacked.
Again, I apologize for my misguided words.

(102,291 posts)on these issues. As a society we are evolving and like the big picture of evolution, there are starts and stops that make progress uneven. Right now there is an impetus for change, but I realize that means some need to 'catch' up to what that means.
I credit those who are doing so. I likewise damn for all eternity, the men like Trump, Moore, and his apologists
