He was in charge of that hearing and he didn't run it well. He made her give her written testimony in advance, and then he set up the hearing to allow Clarence Thomas to rebut her and smear her before she had a chance to open her mouth. And he let the R's ride roughshod all over Anita, including not calling multiple witnesses who were waiting to testify on her behalf and calling that Dogget guy who accused her of having "erotomania."

Those hearings were a disgrace, and Biden's apology, as the HEAD of the Committee, was weak and self-serving.
