The fact that people allow these kinds of morons to be granted undue deference and respect because they utter the word 'god' is enough to make me honestly believe these people are a clear and present danger to the future of humanity.

Enough with the asinine 'god' defense of literally everything. Things like this just make me think less of anyone who professes a "be-lie-f" in 'god' to begin with and an utter contempt for those who self-identify as someone who 'talks to god' or 'has a relationship with god' or 'allows that religion shapes their decisions'.

Enough already. Make believe friends and hideous conceptions of deity are accelerating the ruination of the planet and the doom of the dominant species, homo sapiens. If we do not all wish to perish and cede the world to the insects, we need to shake of the fleas that are religions and need to do it NOW.

But if they were honest about this God's plan, then it would also be God's plan for the abused women to be able to testify against these pervs in power in order to bring them down. My problem is that they pick and choose what they believe is "The Plan" and it is strangely tilted in their favor.

I don't think there is any thought about some kind of spiritual God. I think they just claim God in order to justify what they are doing. And of course perhaps they have bought into it so much that they actually believe it. A God they created for just this purpose. And wow, it sure is selling well! So.. if I were loaded with ill gotten cash.. along with many unscrupulous past actions which I regretted, having someone say well - God put you there and made you do all of those things as part of his grand plan would make me feel a lot better!
So.. these folks cannot initially feel good about themselves. So I am becoming convinced that in order to buy into this Godly pyramid scheme, you have to be a rather nasty character. You get accepted and then voila.. all is forgiven and you have all of these smiling pat you on the back people who are just like you! And hoo boy are they going to support you because .. if they don't someone might just look into what they have been doing. I wouldn't let a single one of them close to anyone I cared about I'll tell you that much! LOL.
