This guy is no hero. But he did successfully rig the 2016 election.

As for my vote, it goes to Xi Jinping. He has established himself as the first truly paramount leader of China since Deng Xiaoping died.

That's not necessarily who Time will actually choose as the Person of the Year.

The last few years there's been outcry on DU that the poll winner wasn't the same as who Time chose.
