The sad, pathetic truth behind the Madmans Time Magazine tweet

He knew that he was unlikely to win Person of the Year again, but he refused to accept the fact that someone might be considered more newsworthy than him.

So he had a preemptive moment of sour grapes that he thought would justify the failure by Time to give him the award.

Thus once again making the story all about him. He cannot stand to have the story be about anyone but him.

And rest assured, when Time does name it Person of the Year, he’ll speak out and once again make it all about him.

He’s a pathologically sick being.

Whoever gets it, or maybe Time itself, will be subjected to a snarky, sour-grapey tweet. I've never seen behavior quite like this, even from small children.

It suits this situation to a tee.

Preemptive is a good adjective for much he tweets.

Preemptive Bragging
Preemptive Claims of Success or Winning
Preemptive Finger Pointing

and so forth.

Unfortunately, he is often so far out in front of an imagined issue that there isn't an issue (or was, or will be one) to which to apply the tweet. Preemptive doesn't quite apply to this type except in his distorted view. Perhaps "delusional preemptive sourgrapes." No, that's not quite right, how about "Preemptive Delusions?"

No more coffee for me!

JUST ONE FUCKING DAY -- a day off from embarrassing himself.

Jesus I've never seen a more stupid person in public office in my life.

and the most important person. He's conned himself into believing that.
