Yell "Stop!" at the top of your lungs. Get off the massage table, grab your clothes and leave the room. Call 911 from your cell phone. Report the assault, dress quickly, leave the facility, and meet the police officer who responds outside the door of the place. Don't leave the area until the police respond.
Take charge of your personal safety. Report crimes against your person and follow through.

(146,324 posts)There are a couple of threads on the GD thread list today. In the stories, the victims all went home and called Massage Envy to report the assaults. Then, they were put off by the person who answered, who wanted them to return to "discuss their experience."
That's bullshit! Report sexual assaults directly to the police immediately, and from the vicinity of the facility. Don't wait. Don't take excuses. Just call 911.

(146,324 posts)Many men, apparently, expect some sexual activity, which also leads to serious problems for many massage therapists. Perhaps even some women are looking for that. I don't know.
I'm not a massage patron, though, so I don't know the protocols at massage places.
I do know that it's probably not a good idea to select a Tantric Massage, if that's on the menu of available services. That is bound to lead to misunderstandings of some sort.
you are correct about Tantric massage ... or Yoni massage as well

(1,148 posts)And for a lot of women, the necessary reaction is to protect ourselves from the perp in front of us. This summer I was confronted in my home by a neighborhood creeper with suspect intentions. Instinct kicked in and told me to keep the trespasser calm (when you're one-on-one against someone 5x more powerful, rousing his rage seems like a really bad idea).
To your point, once around other people I'll call the cops, if this massage assault ever happens to me

Many times it's unclear whether it's safe to react as you advise, even in the specific situation you set. Expecting police response if you say a dude pressed his dick on you while giving you a massage is, frankly, laughable. Freezing or going numb during sexual assault is a common response and your exhortation to REACT HARDER is unhelpful. I encourage you to read more about how people tend to react to sexual assault and stop making blanket recommendations.

(146,324 posts)call 911 if they have been sexually assaulted. I realize that's not always easy to do, but it's the best plan, I believe.
