will alimony payments become nondeductible for the payer in the new tax bill?
Our friend is currently paying his two ex wives alimony (one is in a mental institution). He is afraid of the financial consequences if his payments are no longer tax deductible.

He's about to be tossed aside by the entire party. How funny would it be if Mueller just saved our butts regarding the tax bill too?

I would think that congresspersons pay alimony, too, so why would they do this?
