Next step: What did President Trump know when he named Michael Flynn to be his National Security Adviser? Did he know and just not care? Did he not know, and sloppily appointed a man so badly compromised to one of the most sensitive security positions in government? Who did Trump consult with on Flynn's appointment?

Do any of these questions look like something the legislative branch should be looking into as a check or a balance on the executive?
