I will have to concede they are the complete masters of propaganda.

(841 posts)A lot of Republican voters will be hurt by this bill but so many Republican voters are brainwashed or allow their hatred for certain groups to dominate their thinking that it won't matter. It doesn't help that many of them live in a sealed media bubble where they are fed right-wing talking points daily.
I try not to be surprised or frustrated by voters anymore but it is hard. Most people are not interested in politics to begin with or only have a minimal knowledge of current affairs and it is hard to change this. The Republicans know and understand this which is why they hate education and making to easier for people to vote. They want the public to either be asleep or whipped up by right-wing propaganda. Don't worry about the tax bill, be angry about some liberal/lefty college students or welfare cheats who are stealing all of your hard-earned money.

We don't do that.
We could do that stuff but I don't want to, gotta live with myself.
We can combat their cheating though, which we haven't done enough of and I wish the Party would make it as big a priority as getting out the vote.

Christians will vote for Republicans because they oppose abortion, gay rights, and transgender rights.
Christian Theocracy controlled by global corporations is their goal.
They have been working on this plan for 6 decades.
The John Birch Society game plan seems to be working.

(51,311 posts)are SO ignorant that if TOMORROW. Sean Hannity said this was a DEMOCRATIC Tax Bill,
many, many people would believe him.
Especially if he said the taxes of the Middle Class and the poor were going up because of Obama and Hillary.
Not joking here.
