It will cost MORE to pay to make things right again (environment), plus paying off the debt that the Pugs are adding on!

This bill spells RECESSION. Government cuts are reductions in spending. The Rich pocket their tax cut or buy another yacht or a sixth vacation home.
Not only that, the masses will reduce spending to try to gain some clarity and solvency in their financial future.
Convervatism, the stock market, the economy --- this IS the BLOW OFF TOP.
Hunker down. There's a hard blizzard coming.

(14,837 posts)So much for hurricane tracking, and dozens of other life saving functions they oversee....
noaa also manages federal fisheries, all coastal fishing permits and regulations. guess there no bag limits or species restrictions for the draggers or anyone else next year.

(14,837 posts)than global warming science. Sure, that's a big piece, but they also offer free weather forecasting for both aviation and boating, they monitor winds and currents, they set and enforce fisheries regulations, they monitor hurricanes and sever weather (think no tornado tracking during severe weather), and lots of other stuff.
noaa is one of the most critical branches of govt to safety in real time, and science across the board.
I know why they want to eliminate it, but damn, you might as well disband the navy because you don't like their uniforms (they are pretty ugly though).

(10,279 posts)rip monitoring and forecasting out of the USG. I first became aware of their efforts about 1985. It finally bought a piece of legislation to get NOAA broken up and sold off.

America is going to be no longer.
We need another revolution.

(28,270 posts)Trump and the present virulent anti American republican party are an even higher magnitude of evil than those bastards were!
This country will NEVER recover from Trump unless the democratic party seizes control of both the House, the Senate and the white house and passes a massive recovery/social welfare program on the level of FDR and LBJ....MINIMUM!
Truthfully it needs to go far beyond that if this country is ever again going to be worth a damn to the average working American.
