General Discussion
Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsSo now that this atrocity of a tax bill passed the Senate and will soon be law,
What is the Democratic Party's plan to poltically blodgen Republicans for supporting It?
What is the coordinated attack message they will ALL be repeating at the the same time?
What ruthless campaign commercials are being worked on right now?
How is the party going to show people that, once again, the GOP just fucked them over for the umpteenth time?
THAT is how you take back Congress in 2018!
" A Better Deal" is not going to change hearts and minds!

(5,191 posts)I do think their messaging sucks and needs to be bolder, clearer, and much more ruthless, if we are to beat the Koch Brother puppet GOP!
Do you really think Democratic messaging has been effective?
My plan is to ruthlessly expose the GOP for who they are instead of saying "better deal", which sounds like a Pappa John's ad.

(9,273 posts)This above all must be hammered home.
Polls have shown at least 60% of ALL Americans oppose this legislation. So the ad must be: "independent surveys have shown that 60% of all citizens in Rep. X's district opposed the tax bill. Yet he voted for it anyway. Why? Isn't he supposed to represent his constituents? Or is he answering to other forces more important than you and me? Wealthy donors perhaps?"
