She told Todd, The Judiciary Committee has an investigation going as well and it involves obstruction of justice. And, I think, what were beginning to see is the putting-together of a case of obstruction of justice.
Feinstein elaborated:
I think we see this in the indictments, the four indictments and pleas that have just taken place, and some of the comments that are being made. I see it in the hyper-frenetic attitude of the White Housethe comments every day, the continual tweets. And I see it, most importantly, in what happened with the firing of Director Comey and it is my belief that that is directly because he did not agree to lift the cloud of the Russia investigation. Thats obstruction of justice.

(13,305 posts)I mean I know they have to be the ones to impeach but if Mueller finds enough evidence to indict then what realistically can the GOP do about it?

(13,305 posts)...the case is strong and it is obvious. It's getting Republicans to go along, and making sure that the cult members who try and revolt since they will refuse to believe anything that is right in front of their eyes are watched and kept in check.
I'm thinking that now that the GOP has their tax cut that we may see more of them speaking out against Trump or at least not defending him so vigorously. But I still don't think that will be enough.

(819 posts)because the GOP led congress is NOT going to impeach Trump for obstruction of justice. Just being real here. Not going to happen.
