1. I was wondering. I'm going to look my Senators up. Both Dems.

One good, the other could be better. The other only lifts his pinkie to vote, a piece of furniture , but 90pc of the time he votes right.

2. Virginia: Kaine and Warner didn't do it publicly and Warner may not have, at all.

However, Kaine said that he did speak with Franken privately.

Hassan joined the lynch mob and Shaheen used a seat on the ethics committee to avoid making a comment...

6. How many Democratic Senators publicly supported Franken?

Just because they didn't pile with the other 24 senators didn't mean they supported Franken and they shouldn't get credit for just remaining silent.

A few Republicans actually said Franken deserves to get a hearing, but as far as I can tell, no democrats have done so.

11. To me, it wasn't necessary for them to publicly support him.

What I wanted to see were Senators who stated they would wait until the ethic committee completed its investigation. So much for the rules. The Mob is clearly in charge now.

12. I don't recall any Democratic Senators stating they would wait for the results of ethics

investigation either. Did ANY Democratic Senator do anything at all other then either publicly state Franken should resign or say nothing?

Following a proper procedure by allowing an accused to have a hearing isn't such a crazy idea, but none of them suggested that.

Mostly because I haven't read much about other Dems addressing this. But I'm happy to learn who i. Either branch of Congress refrained from the pile-on.

15. Here's a list of those that did publicly call for him to step down (with what they said)...

along with a list at the end of those that didn't (Updated last: 12/06/2017 06:59 PM EST)

https://www.politico.com/story/2017/12/06/full-list-senators-call-for-al-franken-to-resign-282175

Democratic senators who had not yet called on Franken to resign: Richard Blumenthal of Connecticut, Ben Cardin of Maryland, Chris Coons of Delaware, Catherine Cortez Masto of Nevada, Tim Kaine of Virginia, Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota, Joe Manchin of West Virginia, Bob Menendez of New Jersey, Brian Schatz of Hawaii, Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire, Chris Van Hollen of Maryland and Mark Warner of Virginia.

Coons, Shaheen and Schatz cannot comment due to the pending investigation before the Ethics Committee.

Note that some that didn't publicly suggest he resign may have done so in a private conversation with Franken (like Amy Klobuchar says she did).

Others commented after Franken's announcement that he had made the right decision announcing he would resign (Richard Blumenthal, Ben Cardin, and Mark Warner did so).

Joe Manchin specifically said he didn't think Franken should resign (see: https://www.50statesofblue.com/2017/12/manchin-franken-resignation-disagree-west-virginia/ ).
