No more Mr. Nice Guy

The horrible videos of California wildfires pretty much match what comes to mind when I think of the damage done by Trump and his unAmeican wrecking crew. Trump and his enablers will soon be left competing for the #1 job in the country, that of Ruins Overseer. We'll have smoldering piles everywhere....a burned corner of the Constitution here, charred hulk of the Liberty Bell there, and the Bill of Rights will be but a faint memory. Everything will be covered in soot and many in Congress will be hiding their dirty little hands behind their backs.

I'm almost numb from reading about the rules Trump has wiped his feet on, the traditions he has trashed, the history he has ignored, the damage he has done. His enablers go along as though they are special guests on a lovely scenic cruise. They're all waist-deep in rubble, hair singed, suits covered in ashes, shoes melted. The ties get a slight adjustment, the smiles get pasted back on their white faces, and off they go....more enabling, more destroying. Anything for a "win", absolutely ANYTHING. Think of the total lack of conscience it takes to stammer through an explanation for voting for a child predator. Apparently child predators make good senators in the same way traitors make good presidents.

We can't continue to play by the same old tired rules because Trump and his people don't have
any.
