(14,834 posts)I like that he's very reliable. He'll have somebody cover for him if he's not available. I send him 10 bucks every now and then. I haven't in awhile, but I think I'll do that now.

(58,785 posts)Malignant agents are at work in every federal department, busily corrupting, dismantling, misusing to hurt people instead of help. I'd like to know as soon as it gets out when something of significance is done on what day.
What's congress done every day, and I don't mean what's being saturation-covered on cable shows. They do pass bills that are only discussed in the inside pages and screens of some written media.
Courts/judicial system. Most big stuff never gets to SCOTUS.
What's happening with the military and with in religious involvement in government.
Important happenings in states.
I'll enjoy this, and thanks, but does anyone also know of someone's who's summarizing the all real political news in one place?

Aren't very many groups fighting this plague, especially fighting vs government in the Federal courts. That takes a lifetime of time & money. One person I know a very strong woman, has several times filed vs Federal gov, won a few 'first amendment' cases. Just opened another case and she explains the process very well - https://wildhorseeducation.org/2017/12/05/breaking-legal-action-filed/

(22,651 posts)I have great admiration for these unsung heroes like Laura L. journalist, the pro bono lawyers. For so many years, its not an easy road vs the government at all!

Mom,
Another holiday season is here and once again I write to you from far away. I know you worry about me. But that is not something new, I think I have always scared you, at least a little bit.
I know you are worried about me now, this year I am worried too. I hope you actually find some comfort in that. You know that when I truly begin to feel this way that there are pieces of me that wake up. Ill survive it, I always do.
The political climate that seeks to silence voices of truth to cover its corrupt roots and selfish goals is intense. Those that live in those roles always hold the things we love in a sort of ransom and use phrases like for their own good. The intended outcome is never for anyones good, except to profit ugly things.
