Trump supported Moore’s opponent, Luther Strange, in the primary, and was pissed that Moore won anyway. You’d think with Trump’s love of Russia, he’d have backed Moore...but he didn’t, at least not at first.

Might have been more reasonable back when we were still chilly with the Cold War.
