Work for turnout. Turnout amongst Dems and young people led to Northam's big win. That strategy will work everywhere!
Young people are heavily progressive, and young people typically don't vote.
Fix that and we can rebuild America.

The Repukes will lie, cheat, steal, and hack every single election. The ONLY way to beat them is with overwhelming turnout, and paper ballots wherever possible.

It will all have been in vain without tamper-proofing the voter rolls and, wherever possible, returning to paper ballots - or to systems with a strong paper trail at least.

I saw him speak and saw his film a few years ago. He is brilliant. He is experienced, smart and rational. I follow him like a guru. He spoke about the economy and how things have happened over the past 30 years that brought us to where we are today. First women HAD to work, then people had to mortgage their homes and take giant loans, they maxed out their credit, then the real estate market crashed. Now Americans have two working parents, leveraged to the hilt and even with two working adults still can't afford college tuition, mortgages, and risk getting laid off of work. Stagnant wages and NO TRICKLE DOWN Reagunomics have ever happened since 1980. America is caught in the stagnant wage gap and it is worsening by the minute. Meanwhile the 1% get more and more rich in the US and the world. This has taken over 30 years for America to realize the facts that are obvious. This will take decades, if not longer, to begin to turn around in any substantial way.

are invalid reasons for voting for someone. They are just WORDS. Ask what the candidate has done with his/her life to help anyone else. If they have no RECORD of having done anything, then don't vote for them. Simple. Like Rachel says, "Don't look at what they SAY, look at what they DO." What they have actually DONE is what counts as they will continue to do the same in office.

Though I live in California I think it is important for ALL of us to support Democratic candidates all over the country, especially those who are running in red districts.

Mary Barzee Flores is easily the best candidate for national office I have heard of in a very long time. Since I cannot vote in her district I urge those who can to please learn more about her, and by all means possible, VOTE!

We must vote and work in our own districts and states, to be sure. However, we can and must give generously to good Democratic candidates across the nation. Give until it hurts, because it will take a short term sacrifice for the long term gain for all Americans.

We can and MUST do this!
