is the fact that Trump pisses all over the Constitution on a daily basis. The calls for Trump's resignation on account of his multiple acts of sexual harassment are both symbolic and political, and obviously intended to make the point that if Al Franken was forced to resign over far less serious claims, why shouldn't Trump do so as well? Of course, he won't - and the unfortunate fact is that people voted for him knowing he was a sexual predator.

And if these women get their day for real and their claims investigated and it's assault, that's vastly different.

Painter's got some good things going on and has been a stand out for many, but he's also going to be looking at it through a very different prism than others because of his background politically and his age socially.
