I have a concern about the polls in Alabama.

The old-timers here in Arkansas say that back in the Faubus years, you couldn't find anyone who would admit to having voted for the guy and yet he won handily election after election.

I suspect that an Alabama voter called by a pollster would not admit to planning to vote for Moore but when s/he gets into the privacy of the voting booth will do so. Wednesday morning, you won't be able to find anyone to admit they voted for Moore and yet he will have been elected by a wide margin.

Yeah, I know. I'm a skeptic.

At the very least this race has gotten very interesting -- which no one would of thought of just a few months ago. Personally, I really do think the enthusiasm gap in this race is very real, and I do think Jones will pull off the upset. Not much confidence in that prediction, but it will be close either way.

...and may shout HELL YEAH and grunt loudly, spit and scratch when asked if they voted for Moore....when maybe they didn't bother to vote at all.

for reasons stated here. And there's lots of fluctuation from one to the other.

I still think Moore wins. Though that may ultimately work to our advantage

Navel gazing ticks me off. Voting is putting a board right up side the head of republicans, that is why they work so hard to suppress.

Read DU all right while listening to MSNBC and worrying about the future of the country.
