Moore can sit on Sassy sucking his thumb and waving his arms in despair but Jones will still be the duly elected Senator for Alabama. The sooner he figures that out, the sooner he can mosey on out to pasture and leave us all the hell alone with his nonsense.

(25,183 posts)If he gets funding for, and files for a recount on the last day possible, that will delay certifying the vote. It keeps a Strange situation (yeah, I intended the pun!) in the Senate, giving the Republicons some extra time to get their tax shenanigans accomplished.
I don't think that it will work, but I'm not surprised that somebody's put Moore up to trying this.
