So, did we learn anything from yesterday's hearing w/the Deputy AG?

Really, no. It was the same bs we heard before! The Republican side wanted Mueller fired & the Dems were getting the runaround. But I did think the Deputy AG did a decent job with pushing back on the Mueller questions and the job his doing. Those idiots on the right need to know the truth and laws. I know, that is hard for them!

taken off the investigation, and a conspiracy theory about the dossier. There is an inspector general's investigation, but they want Mueller fired or a special counsel to investigate the special counsel, which would probably slow everything up. Their logic seems to be that Hillary is guilty of something so therefore Trump isn't. For some reason they are obsessed with the notion that the FBI might have paid for the dossier.

The alleged problem is that the dossier was used in fisa court to get warrants to spy on trumpsters, using possibly biased invalid evidence of a crime. But of course Trump admin can just release the affidavits filed with fisa court so we can find out. They can black out anything classified. Congress has asked for the affidavits. Yet the Trump Admin will not release. If dossier were source Trump Admin would have released the affidavits.

the investigation as part of the preparation of most conservatives to completely reject the findings of the investigation as corrupt and to sow grave doubt of its integrity among others.

This is huge, because it is setting the stage for the Republican controlled congress to refuse to act on any information that is presented. Obstruction of justice? Treason? Long, long list of other crimes against the nation? All Democratic Party lies.

We would still have the courts, but at this point our democratic government would be in grave danger of failing, two branches refusing accountability for crimes and, out of control of the electorate, able to continue committing yet more crimes.

Enabled by an electorate who had failed and thrown open the gate to intense corruption and dismantling of democracy itself.

So, what happened today was kinda big because it's a significant part of a huge national crisis.
