9 1/2 hours of questioning?

Sounds serious.

Why would anyone be questioned for such a long time? Did he have that much information to give? Or did he have that much information that he did not want to give?

No doubt, the Senators were on a trail they did not want to give up. Since it was behind closed doors, we do not know what was asked or discussed?

However, just from the length of the testimony, it must have been very important?

for being such an conscientious, hard-working, ethical, and moral individual, while the Democrats will try to indicate his guilt and endeavor to trip him up and provide contradictory testimony. That can take quite a bit of time if each member of the committee uses the full time allotted to them.
