Weird six degrees of separation with the killer's father Robert Holmes

Robert Holmes is a former grad student from the Department I work in at UC Berkeley and his Faculty Group leader was Prof. Emeritus Peter Bickel who is still there.

Here's a list of present and former grad students under Prof. Peter Bickel.

Peter Bickel is in our Department of Statistics.

This must be very shocking to him! Six degrees of separation indeed!

And was shot four times. The niece would have been there but there were no tickets left so she went to a different theater.

Her mom has a friend who got splattered with blood when the woman next to her was killed. Then she ducked to the floor while the shooting continued.

Your niece and your mom's friend were way too close for comfort. I'm glad for the survivors even though it breaks my heart to think of the dead.

My niece's other sisters thought she was at that showing. There was some frantic texting back and forth while they were figuring out who was where.
