Last night I went to a concert with a nurse who was talking about how countries with socialize health care are dangerous because it's the government who decides whether a person get treatment. She was telling me about a story on Facebook about a woman who was told by the doctors in her country told her that there was nothing wrong with her, then she comes to the US and is told that she is dying from leukemia.

that's my method for dealing with stupid bullshit. the anecdotes fall apart really fast.

I know hardly any liberals, and I would only have like 1 friend and no family if I had to cut out republicans. That's why I'm always on this site. It helps me feel like I'm not alone.
But there is still something fishy about the story.

Not funding CHIPS is going to be a huge black mark on them that everyone can understand in 2018. Only the deplorables will blame us anyway, and those already blame us for gravity and house flies.

They HAVE to lose in 2018. If they funded now, it would at best only be for one year, maybe not enough to cover a year.
