unless they bought a certain data package. They were blocked from doing so and all Iphone users in America have been enjoying Facetime on their Iphones because guess why?

I think the repeal of the net neutrality rules is a bad idea. But some of the sky is falling predictions being made here don't make any sense.

Big internet providers don't give a rat's ass about the content that is delivered -- they care about how to make the most money from delivering that content. If they can make more by discriminating amongst different providers, not based on content but on, for example, whether the ISP itself offers competing content, they will. But just blocking for the sake of blocking or slowing down for the sake of slowing down? Can't see it happening since it doesn't improve their bottom line.

"Big internet providers don't give a rat's ass about the content that is delivered" That makes perfect sense.

per bit. That means all high data sites will have to pay more for access. We may see increased ads and paywalls.

it takes .53 of a second for DU to load, rather than .26 of a second.

Which - trust me! - will drive Millennials insane!
