Just curious. If Bill Clinton had been elected in 2016, would he have stepped down...

Let's imagine everything stayed the same, and the Lewinsky affair came to light... what would he have done in the current climate?
I'm guessing he would be doing what the angry orange man is doing.
What do you think?
This is not a slam, or trolling, I have never voted for a Republican in my life, voted for BOTH Clintons!

Despite his issues with women other than his wife, Bill Clinton has empathy and a soul. Trump has neither. My guess? Bill would likely have stepped aside if the number of claims that Trump has against him surfaced.

Prior to his election he was a known "womanizer." That would automatically be considered sexual harrasment today, which would have disqualified him in the eyes of many democrats. Yes, we have higher standards than they do.

He had an affair w/an intern. And he had a long term affair with a woman before he was Prez. Beyond that, he denied what he was accused of and was never found to be guilty of anything, despite hundreds of Republicans going after him persistently, spending millions of taxpayer dollars.

Hillary Clinton was MORE THAN QUALIFIED ALL BY HERSELF to become POTUS.
Hillary Clinton DID NOT NEED any kind of "Buy One Get One Free" offer to become an outstanding President. In fact, I don't think swing voters were even remotely interested in the possibility.

Bill Clinton was DEFINITELY still around.

But that's not the point of my post, it was a simple question whether BC would have fought to stay or not.
