The subtle difference between Spicer and Huckabee-Sanders: A metaphor.

Say Donald Trump told his two respective press secretaries, Sean Spicer and Sarah Huckabee-Sanders, to go out in front of the media with a plate of dog shit and eat it, all while telling the press that they're eating delicious chocolate cake.

Most importantly, I think both would do it. Both have so little respect for themselves and their integrity and the truth that they would not refuse Trump's orders.

Here's the difference, though.

Sean Spicer would go out with his fork trembling, start eating the dog shit, and immediately start gagging and coughing as he struggles to swallow it down his throat. About halfway through, he'd turn to the press and ask, "So you guys believe me yet? Can I stop eating? You guys believe I'm eating chocolate cake, right? Right?"

Sarah Huckabee Sanders would happily strut out there, casually cutting the shit with her fork, and without hesitating start popping it into her mouth and gobbling it up. Eventually, she'd stop and tell the press, "Mm-mm-mm. This is some really good cake. You want any? Because it's absolutely delicious."

Just my personal take on my observations of their approach after watching both of them sell dog shit to the country.

He was never that skilled at selling those lies.

Huckabee is much more comfortable at the game than he was.

as Sarah likes to say, and the press seems to have found these press secretaries credible.
The reporters have continued to go to the press conferences.
If all those professionals thought Sarah was lying they would boycott or at the least refuse to ask questions.
Maybe even turn their chairs around.
Maybe just ask questions in Spanish or Russian.
