Most movies featuring a villain as despicable and inherently evil as Trump end, more or less, in the

same way: the common folk eventually storm the castle with torches and pitchforks. They set fire to the place and the monster is consumed by the flames of their righteous indignation.

of tradesmen and small businesses was one of the causes of the French Revolution.

But that is a history that is probably too complex for the Republicans.

It's happened over and over. We have to win in 2018 and establish a sensible tax structure. Not what the Republicans are imposing on us.

You tax money, not people. You tax those who get the money, not those who have little.

A society that tries to impose the burden of paying for things on the least wealthy among the populous is headed for trouble. Money and society don't work that way. Those who have have to pay because those who don't have can't.

Besides, taking care of the poor and weak is what matters in Christian theology. The rest of it can be disputed and interpreted in many ways. And the very people advocating for taking from the poor and giving to the rich claim to be Christians. Makes no sense whatsoever.
