I just passed a Phelps Family demonstration. What an astoundingly ugly and

hateful group of people. You know, I'm not a religious person at all, but in my church teachings we were taught the devil comes in many disguises. When one looks at a group like this it IMO gives a lot of validity to that latter statement.

I think most of their demonstrations are just to gain the attention of the media. If they didn't get any coverage I think it would take a lot of wind out of their sails.

regular Sunday services, apparently striking out at the pastor for not being like them from what I could learn.

There is nothing Christian about the Phelps group. I doubt the rest of the world would miss one of them.

religious, but I did attend a lot of church, Sunday school and outings as a youth, and I find nothing Christan whatsoever about the Phelps Family, who uses religion as a tool to cloak their hateful activities for sheer profit. In my book they are purely the work of the devil.
