With the elimination of net neutrality...

can a case be made to hold ISP companies responsible for the content that passes through their lines?

While net neutrality was in force they did not have the ability to control content passing through so they could not be held responsible.

Since they now have the ability to censor and control what they transmit, if harmful or illegal content is transmitted they should be able to be sued by the injured party.

This could open them up to a tidal wave of lawsuits.

ISP's not being responsible for content they transmit predates net neutrality. PoliticAverse Dec 2017 #2
