Here's a List of Members of Congress Who Told Ajit Pai to Repeal Net Neutrality

And how much money they've taken from the telecom industry.

Wednesday afternoon, 107 Republican members of Congress sent Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai a letter supporting his plan to repeal net neutrality protections ahead of the commission’s Thursday vote.

The House Committee on Energy and Commerce and its Subcommittee on Communications and Technology released the letter, and it is signed by 107 lawmakers. Many of their signatures are illegible, and the committee did not release a typed list of the members who signed it. A call to the committee was not immediately returned.

Motherboard staff has attempted to compile a list of names on the letter. The full letter is embedded below. So far, we have been able to read 84 names; if you can read any that we have missed please tweet at us or email us (jason.koebler@vice.com). We will be updating this list throughout the night.

We have also listed the amount of money they have received in donations from the telecom industry since 1989, as compiled by The Center for Responsive Politics and The Verge.

If net neutrality is an issue that is important to you and the name of your representative is on this list, you may want to consider whether they should continue serving you the next time they are up for reelection.

We must get money out of politics. It's nothing more than legalized bribery. Just insane.

Why do we allow this?

It makes no sense at all to let them do this to us. They distract us fighting the symptoms of thus corruption, we protest pipelines, we protest attacks on the ACA,... but the cause of these problems is the money!

We need to unite all of our Special Interests: Environment; women's rights; education; immigration; and so forth, to fight to remove the corruption these legal bribes are causing. We have lost Representative Democracy due to these bribes, Super PACs, Dark Money and the Revolving Door.

Why does Blake Farenthold want to serve out his term? To make these last votes for the money he took so one of these Donors will give him a cushy high paying job!

i do know that The Dalles, one of the "borderline" towns on the northwest edge of eastern Oregon, just put up a major data center for Google.
https://www.google.com/about/datacenters/inside/locations/the-dalles/
now Google being what it is, i don't expect them to be impacted much by the negation of net neutrality, but that data center is expected to be a significant input to The Dalles' economy (and that of the surrounding area) for the next few decades. if the FCC, with Walden's support, in any way threatens this data center's viability, he will have a lot of splainin to do for his voting constituents. no amount of fake cowboy behavior will get his sorry ass off the hook if he jeopardizes this infrastructure's ability to function optimally.
