(5,106 posts)I would welcome the ghost of Richard Nixon hovering over the White House and Congress these days... and a Congress realizing, despite party differences, whatever his personal failings, he knew his stuff in terms of government. Trump knows little about ANYTHING beyond his personal desires and maintaining his image. No doubt Trump is despised by the congressional branch, but will it take a dozen more Alabamas before Mitch and Co. stop insisting on their Scrooge-like agenda? Accepting Trump has been their lowest of the low.
