Has been mentally deteriorating for a while now.

He is quite gifted con man or used car salesman. I dare say that he is the best to have ever ran for the office of the presidency in our history.

He understands human nature, what the majority wants and plays on that like our society has never seen before. Think about it!
1. He plays on our hatred of the war in iraq completely against the rest of the republican party on the stage of the primaries. People in general are sick of war!
2. He plays against free trade and outsourcing that has destroyed millions of jobs in the rust belt the past 40 years. This was a huge part of why he won those states! Hillary couldn't defend from it as she worked for a man that attempted to make it worse with the TPP.
3. He railed up human nature and hatred for others that are different.

Anyone that thinks Trump is dumb isn't paying attention....There's a reason why most republican candidates were anti-government to one extent or another the past 2 election cycles. A lot of people hate government for one reason or another....Trump just packaged himself in away that sold to these people in the best way.

I was really hoping someone would respond like you have. Con man; used car salesman - I've recognized those attributes as well. In fact one of my other thoughts of Trump is that he is an evil genius - ala Ian Fleming's James Bond novels.

Just read some of the posts on DU today. Talk of the House Committee being shut down, the firing of Mueller, pardons, giving Trump a win on this tax scam that is not supported by the large majority of the American People and coming back in the New Year to a Trumped up war with NK.

How did we get here?

Is this the evil genius at work or is he having help to get us to this point?

We're getting closer by the day to the midterms - and I don't think the problem of Russian influence on our elections has been or will be addressed.

Did we really win in Alabama or were we set up to believe we did to lull us into a false sense of security that we have a chance to win in 2018?

We are living now in a world where real news is fake news and fake news is pawned off as real news.

I still feel we've been living under a coup that took effect Nov 2016.

Are the Repug holdouts on this tax scam being coerced to now vote for it? By whom? Why? Really - Corker and Collins will now vote for it? What really got them to change?

I feel that something bigger is going on behind the scenes that we the American People are not tuned into.

I hope to hell I'm wrong. I hope that Mueller does his job and gets to the bottom of this.
