They aren't going to care about the increase in the national debt, cuts that might result in Medicare and other social programs, etc. GOPers know this. They also know it will be difficult to get the long-term impact across to people who aren't as attuned as DUers (and that's probably 90% "on both sides&quot .

They may even try to time it so that with a little luck the bad stuff will take effect and start to bite their voters in the ass after Democrats have revolted and taken back control of the government. Then it will be easy to blame Democrats for the misery.
