Mueller took this job knowing that chances were high that he would be fired by Trump. He also knew that he could not rely on the GOP to protect him from this firing because they are being blackmailed or are Russian assets. I believe within an hour of Mueller's firing there will be a leak of enormous proportions not just on Trump but also the complicit GOP.
