Follow the truth - run from the lies. Know the difference.

As Hitler’s propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels famously said, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

Who is lying and who is telling the truth??

I think we're in the phase a phase 2 kind of place. In phase 1, right wingers leveraged accessibility and the ability to megaphone even the most obscure messages and then amplify them via anonymous Facebook, twitter, etc accounts.

Now that phase 1 is complete (i.e. the "right folks" in position of power), it's time to pull up the informational ladders and control every element of the message. The internet is the enemy of fascism...what's the first thing authoritarians do when "the masses" rise up...they shut down twitter. No different than WWII when "disrupting communication centers" was always part of the early battle strategy.
