This feels more like the Cuban Missile Crisis than Watergate.

Brand new, edge-of-the-earth challenge. We have to win this. We have to.

Certainly Russia's thinking on this was as concise and strategic as Osama Bin Laden's on 9/11. Talk about your asymmetric warfare. This has got to be the most impressive example in history since the Trojan Horse.

We got got. Now we have to set it right. Have to. The United States must survive this.

I'm ready to hit the street anytime. But I have a feeling that this breaks open soon, and it feels like there's a clock ticking.

Cuban Missile Crisis.

Nothing that is going on today feels anything like that time. We were being taught in school how to duck and cover when the bombs started hitting. The sense that war with Russia -- on American soil -- was imminent was palpable.

3. More like the Circus Media Crisis. We need to realize Twitter isn't reality, it is perceptions.

Reality is a court filing!
Tweets are like farts, they have a short half-life, albeit a really good one isn't easily forgotten.

I was a freshman in high school during the Cuban Missile Crisis. I followed it closely, and I had a father who was well informed. He did discuss it with us.

I was an older, voting Democrat and activist during Watergate. I followed that, too. And I read every book written, post-Watergate.

I did not fear that Nixon would start a nuclear war when he was cornered. Nixon was unhinged, but not a full-blown madman. Trump is crazy enough to start WWIII if he is cornered. It should be Watergate, but trump is unpredictable and capricious. Also, he is vicious.

I hope someone is doing something about the possibility of nuclear war, but I am not counting on it.

I've got a feeling the KGOP republicans will be sending out the goons (uniformed & otherwise) in their ongoing partnershit campaign with russia against America and Americans.
