Crib sheet from 12/15 TRMS law school, Frump prosecution edition: 14 questions & answers in 14 lines

To settle arguments on DU, I decided to take notes.

Rachel had a team of lawyers, one fbi, to answer some legal questions about Mueller's investigation of russia and frump. As I watched it I decided to crib the questions and answers, since these have come up on a regular basis. I kept it really, really short, so, I'm sure in certain circumstances, there could be exceptions to these answers, but this is basically what was asked and answered. I included only opinions clearly stated on the show: (Not mine!)

1. Mike Flynn: Strategy: If pardoned, will Mueller lose Flynn’s previous or future testimony? No.
2. Mike Flynn: Does the small guilty plea mean his useful information is limited? No. His statement demands that he comply with any and all future investigations whether federal, state, or local.
3. Mike Flynn: Is his son protected? Probably not.
4. Mike Flynn: Does he testify directly to the grand jury? Probably only if he contradicts himself or if Mueller thinks he’ll be fired.
5. White House staff: Are they also held guilty for obstruction? No, unless they abet a coverup.
6. FBI: How independent are they? Who oversees them? As a group, completely. POTUS can’t fire all of them: only the director.
7. Guess: Does Trump pardon Flynn? No.
8. Guess: Will trump fire Mueller? No.
9. If Mueller is fired, will his previous legal work be forfeited, and will the previous deals end? No.
10. Will frump’s non-disclosure agreements prevent honest testimony? No.
11. Can Mueller get frump’s taxes? Yes. Will frump know about it? No.
12. If Kuschner is the only one to meet with Mueller, does that mean he’s the only one indicted? No. You don’t need a personal interview to be targeted.
13. Will a sitting potus be indicted, even for crimes pre-election? No. But he could be charged after leaving office, depending on the statute of limitations.
14. What is a constitutional crisis? Are we there? Only if someone sues and it goes to SCOTUS.

Interesting that they don't think he'll pardon Flynn or fire Mueller.

I don't, either. But, you never know!!!
