Is David Brooks a perfect idiot?

I know. You'll say nobody's perfect, but Brooks' is so earnest, such a serious thinker, yet at the same time lighter than air. He was rambling on MTP about rMoney's virtues as a corporate fixer and how wondrous it would be if those gifts were applied to the country. Getting rid of unproductive workers was the rMoney method. Can the President just get rid of unproductive Americans? Would we get a severance package? I'll go. Give me 20 grand and send me to France.
