Roy Moore vs. Harry Lyon?

I actually think I would choose Roy Moore, if you held a gun to my head. Or even if you didn't.

Roy Moore is an obnoxious attention-seeker, with a willful disregard for the rule-of-law. But at least he has shown a little bit of compassion around the edges. Like showing a little compassion in drug-related cases.

Harry Lyon is orders of magnitude worse than Moore, if that is conceivable.

Lyon advocates public hangings for family men that have illegally crossed into the United States, in order to better provide for their families.

He is even nuttier than Moore.

Can we not come together to prevent a travesty of either of these men heading the Supreme Court of the state?

I'd like to convince Sue Bell Cobb to come back. I'd vote for her.

I don't know much about current Chief Justice Chuck Malone, but I'd vote for him over either one of those nuts.

I'm not sure who the perfect candidate is, but surely the parties can come together and find someone to head our top court that is better than Roy Moore or Harry Lyon.
