Paul: Vaccines can cause 'profound mental disorders'

Source: CNN.com

Washington (CNN)Sen. Rand Paul raised eyebrows on Monday with a combative interview with a female reporter and controversial comments defending his insistence on voluntary vaccinations.

During the interview, with CNBC's Kelly Evans, Paul yawns, interrupts Evans and at one point motions for her to be quiet with a finger to his lips.

He also reproaches her for a "slanted" interview that he says "got no useful information because you were argumentative, and you started out with so many preoppositions [sic] that were incorrect."

They probably see vaccines as another plot to take their guns somehow.

This is a battle we must win. If the anti-vaxxers get their way, we will see mass epidemics of easily treatable diseases, simply because a small group of deluded voters is being pandered to. This way lies madness.

well, i'll just go with the part that is not so obvious, but that he harped on because it's the liberated mantra, freedumb!!

every state in these united of states has laws requiring ALL kids to be vaccinated for certain diseases. which ones varies from state to state, but every single one requires vaccinations.

so his claim that it has always been voluntary is just plain crap.

to match what's between his ears.

sheez louise in a dairy freeze.

and then, the really good part, he was rude and condescending throughout (like he was with rachel; remember?), but at the end inasmuch threatened not to do any more interviews with her unless she understood that she could not come into it with her presuppositions. as in truth, or challenges to his talking points.

if this is the kind of respect he pays journalists, wonder how long he'll last.

Like Huckabee and Christie, the more people see of him, the less they'll want to see more.

Someone is going to have to come in from the wings, or the 'Lican nominee is going to be Jeb Bush.

Who is eminently beatable.
