Congress stuck on Homeland Security funding, immigration

WASHINGTON (AP) — Senate Democrats have blocked action for a third time on legislation to fund the Homeland Security Department and overturn President Barack Obama's executive actions on immigration.
The vote Thursday was 52 to 47, eight short of the 60 needed to advance. Two procedural votes earlier in the week yielded similar outcomes.
It's not certain how Congress will resolve the issue with Homeland Security funding set to lapse on Feb. 27 without action.
