Walker Says He'll Sign Fast-Tracked Right-To-Work Bill
Source: TPM
Republicans in Wisconsin's legislature announced Friday plans to fast-track right-to-work legislation and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker's (R) office indicated that the governor would sign it.
"If this bill makes it to his desk, Governor Walker will sign it into law," Walker press secretary Laurel Patrick said in a statement, according to National Journal.
Lawmakers plan to hold a vote on the bill next week.
Until recently, it was unclear whether Walker would actually support the right-to-work push. Right-to-work laws prevent unions and businesses from making labor deals that require members to pay unions fees.

(26,319 posts)that require members to pay unions fees isnt that a case of "big government" ? So shouldnt the republicans oppose the law or is this another case of republican hypocrisy in action?

(249 posts)Walker never says he'll sign RTW legislation. I totally agree that he will. Scott Walker is the biggest POS on the planet! But he's destroying Wisconsin. He and Sam Brownback should be the poster boys for failed experiments. When will the right wake up? Trickle down DOES NOT WORK. The experiment's been run to completion and the results are in. They seem to have a political belief that rivals a religious belief.
The right wing think tank Univ. of Chicago school of economics is crushed. They can't believe markets are not self correcting and trickle down does not work. The evidence is in and it's conclusive.
