Gov. Walker says he doesn't know if Obama loves his country

BY STEVE PEOPLES AND JILL COLVIN
FEB. 21, 2015 12:19 PM EST

WASHINGTON (AP) — Republican Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin says he doesn't know whether President Barack Obama loves America.

The possible 2016 White House candidate says he's not qualified to judge Obama's patriotism — he's never asked the president about it.

Earlier in the week, former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani said at fundraiser for Walker that Obama doesn't love his country.

Walker — who's in Washington for a weekend meeting of governors — tells The Associated Press: "You should ask the president what he thinks about America."

Walker also said, "I've never asked him so I don't know."

However a really unthinking response. Most politicians are much more nimble on their feet than Walker.

I've seen some intelligent ones actually turning a question such as this into a way to forward their views on the world. These are worth watching - they can think on their feet and probably will govern with pragmatism.

From what I've read, Walker is in the same boat as many of the RW wannabes - not smart but able to talk the points that are fed to him.

Talk about elitist?

Why the hell didn't some dweeb urinalist ask Walker if he loves his state??? At least THAT question - dumb as it might be - would be relevant TO Walker.

Yeah - DOES Obama love his country? Why else would one take on a job that pays less than the lamest of CEO positions - marks you (and your family) as a target for some nut job until the day you're in your grave - and steals from you, the simplest of privacy an ease. Yeah - Obama HATES his country SO MUCH that he took the office just to piss off the likes of FOX's audience.

Further, being the stupid query that it is, Walker's answer isn't so out of line! Certainly, Walker HASN'T put that question to Obama and I'd bet that Obama IS actually capable of uttering the words: "No, I don't love the USA!" An explanation he might give could sound like "Being born here, I find it insulting that that fact is STILL being disputed to this very day. Why should I feel good about a nation that - to some notable extent - seems to hate me?"

Milwaukee frequently had socialist mayors, until 1960. The local small businesses were the staunchest supporters of the socialists, because the socialists made the city work. The term "sewer socialists" was a term of pride for them.

And in the northwest corner of the state, you have Superior, an old union town and until the 70's, home of Tyomies, a Finnish-language Communist weekly newspaper.

And then ya got places like the Fox River valley, Waukesha, and whole swathes of increasingly desolate farm counties that remain solidly Republican. They still worship Joe McCarthy in those parts.

So, we're quite a crazy-quilt of politics. Baldwin, but Sunspot Johnson. Feingold, but Ryan.

In 2004, it was common in my neck of the woods to see BUSH yard signs standing side by side on the same lawn with FEINGOLD signs.

It's a crazy state.

if he loves America, his track record says other wise.
Gutting the education in Wisconsin comes to mind first of all.
Or how about when a group of people get together and say they want a UNION and they ask to have a vote for one like in a democratic way with 50 + 1 saying yes, not Walker he wants to take away the citizens of the state the right to vote.
Taking bribes or what is called campaign funds and become beholden to the oligarchies that gave you the money to buy votes on legislation they want, like taking coal ash or coke and put it next to a river and then have the river get polluted with mercury and then gutting the clean water act and attacking the state and federal EPA standards, because in America we don't need any stinking clean water.
How about local election for school boards, where the Koch brothers got there candidate on the board with outside influence.
OR better yet, do you think when someone is under investigation for a possible shenanigans in campaign finance laws should they resign, because of the implications in a John Doe investigation.
How about "punting" on evolution.
So Scotty, what do you think about America, do ya love it?

.... President Obama .... loves America or not, he doesn't want to speculate. For the record I just want to say that I don't know if Scott Walker has a penis or not, and I don't want to speculate. I think most people who call themselves men do...but I think it is up to him to tell us if he is dickless or not. I am going to let him respond to that.

I heard that someone has publicly stated that she thinks he may be a tranny hooker on meth. I can't speak to the veracity of her claim. I think good people of good conscious might believe that and I am not going to question anyone's motives in saying that. As to Scott Walker, I can only say that I am going to have to let him respond. I wouldn't want to speculate on if he still uses meth or is a trans either pre or post op. As I have said before, I have no comment on if he prostitutes himself. I have heard speculation to that effect for many years, though. It wouldn't be appropriate for me to weigh in with my opinions on this matter.

and these Tea Party radicals don't have much to think with so they could very well nominate this guy.

*But wait Wisc.election officials have a history of election fraud/theft so maybe he didn't win that recall or the re-election after all

The GOP base knows what it really means, code words galore in the statements. As soon as Hillary declares (as she is assumed to do), then the Clinton floodgates open, until then the code words for Obama rule the day.
